Besides technological skills,<strong> soft skills<\/strong> will be of a <strong>greater demand<\/strong> and even transform to \u201c<strong>hard skills<\/strong>\u201d. It\u2019s important that soft skills <strong>don\u2019t get neglected<\/strong> during a time, in which companies put their focus on digital qualifications. For ensuring this, we must ask ourselves what <strong>abilities<\/strong> companies are <strong>searching for<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To start with, <strong>communication<\/strong> will always be of necessity in order to be successful. With an increasing trend to a <strong>flexible work environment<\/strong> and more flexible shift hours, <strong>face to face conversations become far less<\/strong>. Under those circumstances, having a common sense for various communication styles is inevitable. Furthermore, with an increasing digitalisation, we get access to <strong>new digital tools<\/strong> that help with <strong>improving<\/strong> our <strong>communication channels<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Secondly, <strong>adaptability<\/strong> helps when people get faced with changes. Being <strong>open to new trends<\/strong> and new opportunities is a presupposition for helping a company <strong>keep up with<\/strong> its <strong>competitors<\/strong> and stay up to date. Thanks to digitalisation industries are <strong>constantly<\/strong> <strong>developing<\/strong>, especially in those industries where new innovations enter the market on a daily basis. For example, <strong>artificial intelligence<\/strong> has a great <strong>impact<\/strong> on the <strong>life sciences industry<\/strong> or many other industries and confronts employees with <strong>new challenges<\/strong>, every time a new device is introduced.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moreover, another essential soft skill is <strong>leadership<\/strong>. Leadership is something everyone is familiar with and it\u2019s something that <strong>can\u2019t really be defined<\/strong> in a specific way. However, in a digital world, there is always a need of leaders, in particular <strong>agile leaders<\/strong> who are <strong>flexible<\/strong> and can <strong>think in different ways<\/strong> in different situations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Furthermore, leaders are important, so that individuals have a <strong>guide<\/strong> who helps them <strong>find <\/strong>their<strong> way to success<\/strong>. Everyone wants to <strong>grow<\/strong> and <strong>develop<\/strong> in order to live a successful life. Due to that, we need people who know how to <strong>manage people<\/strong> and <strong>difficulties<\/strong> and how to <strong>keep a team motivated<\/strong>.
