According to Scientists the mortality rate is said to increase over the coming years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ehnheart.org\/cvd-statistics\/cvd-statistics-2017.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CVD statistics<\/a><\/strong> in 2015, more than<strong> 85 million<\/strong> people in <strong>Europe<\/strong> were living with <strong>cardiovascular diseases<\/strong> and it resulted in <strong>3.9 million deaths<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Despite this information,<strong> 80% of strokes and heart attacks are preventable<\/strong> according to the<strong> NHS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Dr. Anne Schuchat, Principal Deputy Director of CDC<\/strong> says that, \u201cAdults can <strong>seize the day<\/strong> using<strong> daily opportunities<\/strong> to r<strong>educe their risk of heart disease and stroke<\/strong>. Many of these <strong>cardiovascular events<\/strong> are happening to <strong>middle-aged adults<\/strong>, who we wouldn\u2019t normally consider to be at risk. Most of these events can be prevented through daily actions to<strong> help lower risk<\/strong> and better <strong>manage medical conditions<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #a36160;\"><strong><em>What can be done to prevent heart disease or cardiovascular problems?<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Firstly, it is never too early to take<strong> preventative measures for heart diseases<\/strong>. Preventing them is all about making <strong>better choices<\/strong> that will affect your <strong>heart health<\/strong> for the rest of your life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Controlling blood pressure<\/strong> is very important in relation to <strong>heart diseases<\/strong>. It is important to get checked regularly and make<strong> lifestyle changes<\/strong> to control the levels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Getting<strong> regular exercise<\/strong> has many benefits including<strong> strengthening the heart and improving circulation<\/strong>. It also helps <strong>lower cholesterol<\/strong> and <strong>keep blood pressure levels healthy and steady<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Having a healthy diet is imperative for <strong>good heart health<\/strong>. Try <strong>limiting the amount of saturated fats<\/strong> and foods high in sodium and sugar. Start eating plenty of whole grains, fresh fruit, and vegetables.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Limiting alcohol intake<\/strong> can <strong>avoid raising your blood pressure<\/strong> and decrease the intake of calories which influences heart health.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Studies shows that <strong>little sleep is linked to high blood pressure<\/strong>, <strong>obesity<\/strong> and <strong>diabetes<\/strong>. All of which are associated with heart diseases.
